The Board Monitor
Many HOA attorneys advise boards of directors to record the meeting minutes in a very minimal style - the less said the better. The reasoning being that the less the homeowners know about how the development is being managed the better it will be for the board. One only has to review our own minutes to see that this policy is in effect here in Shavano Ridge. We believe this is another policy that encourages abuse. In the interest of accountability and total disclosure, we will do our best to provide the homeowners of Shavano Ridge with more detailed accounts of what really goes on at the board meetings.
